NoFollow Free

To encourage interaction with my blog, I’ve installed a WordPress plug-in that removes the NoFollow Tag from your author link after you’ve made at least 3 comments.

This does not apply to links you put into the comment box — just your author link.

Definition of the NoFollow Tag from Wikipedia:

“nofollow is a non-standard HTML attribute value used to instruct search engines that a hyperlink should not influence the link target’s ranking in the search engine’s index. It is intended to reduce the effectiveness of certain types of search engine spam, thereby improving the quality of search engine results and preventing spamdexing from occurring in the first place.”

So after you’ve made at least 3 comments on my blog, your author link will get some search engine love!

Talk to you soon,
Ryan
