Wealthy Affiliate University Product Review
In my opinion, Wealthy Affiliate University is the best option available right now if you’re truly serious about becoming a successful affiliate marketer.
The membership site is $29.99 per month and it comes with a ridiculous amount of useful features — if you devote yourself to learning the skills they teach you, and use the tools they give you, you’ll EASILY make this money back each month.
I’m going to now outline what I consider to be 6 priceless features of Wealthy Affiliate:
1. Forum:
This part of Wealthy Affiliate gives you the ability to interact with other affiliate marketers, learn from them and help them in turn. You can even send private message to Kyle and Carson, the owners of Wealthy Affiliate, and they usually get back to you within 2 or 3 days.
2. My Linker:
This redirect tool takes your affiliate link, cloaks it into a nicer-looking link and tracks how many clicks it gets. And if you’re using Google Adwords to send traffic to a pre-sell landing page, it will track exactly which keywords convert into click-thru’s to the merchant’s website.
3. Clickbank Research Tool:
This tool gives you full research on every Clickbank product including the refund rate. It also tells you which products are hot, which NEW products are hot and which products are decreasing in popularity.
4. 8 Week Course:
If you’re just getting started in affiliate marketing — or even if you’re experienced — this 8-week course will teach you exactly what you need to know to make money. It gives you one new module each week to work on.
5. Adwords Spy Tool:
This tool lets you track specific keyword phrases and the ads that are being advertised under them. You input a specific keyword phrase and it shows you the ads that are running — you then run the search again a week later and it tells you which ads are still being shown. These affiliates are most likely making money so you’d want to research their strategy and tactics.
6. Free Hosting and Site Builder:

You’ll eventually need your own website for your affiliate marketing efforts — with that comes building the site and hosting it. Hosting alone will easily run you up to $10 per month — and the site builder that’s included with Wealthy Affiliate — called Site Rubix — could easily run you $20 per month. Site Rubix makes building a website easy, even for beginners.
By the way, this blog is hosted by Wealthy Affiliate.
The bottom line is:
Wealthy Affiliate University is one of those rare products that overdelivers — you get so much with your membership. If you do your research, you’ll see that hosting and a good site builder could easily run you $30 per month — that’s what Wealthy Affiliate will cost you, plus you get all the tools and education.
It made sense to me so I signed up — and my affiliate marketing income has been increasing every month since then.
UPDATE: Wealthy Affiliate 3.0 is now out and some big changes have been made:
1. New user-friendly dashboard where you can pick and choose what you see when you log in.
2. My Linker has been updated with some cool reporting features and it’s much quicker now as well.
3. Rapid Writer has been added. It’s an article marketing super tool that enables you to keep track of your article marketing campaigns and do keyword research.
Talk to you soon,
Ryan

This is helpful. I’m curious what your top 10 list encompases regarding must-read material or must-have products to guide a novice to becoming a reasonable web-based money-maker. Maybe that’s 2 lists… or maybe that’s 20 blog entires! Thanks for all the help and advice. I’ll keep reading.
Good idea Food Junkie.
Honestly, Wealthy Affiliate is the best resource I’ve come across so far…I’ve been a member for 5 months now.
I get to host this blog, build landing pages, interact with other marketers and get access to tools and educational material.
It’s a monthly charge of $30, but I consider this price extremely fair.
I also got a lot out of The Rich Jerk because the eBook introduced me to the concept of using presell review landing pages to promote affiliate programs.
I’ve heard Affiliate Classroom is good…and I might try a program called Social Power Linking.
I’ll add your idea to my list of “to blog about”. Thanks!
