Hi AnneMarie, I don’t know what your landing pages look like so I can’t give you good advice, but make sure your ad groups contain very closely-related keywords and make sure those keywords and variations of them are on your landing page, especially your title tag…and throw in a H1 tag at the top with your main keyword phrase if possible.

So basically you should have one landing page per ad group so you can customize the landing page to the keywords you’re bidding on.

All I can truly say is that you are a brave man for using Adwords in the first place.

Every time I tried to get started, a slap came along and this decided me, that I would have to use other means of gaining traffic.

Kudos to you and all others who use it.

Great article. I am a Google adwords user and it is good to get these suggestions. I know that I have been lax in maintining my adwords.

My goal is to boost up my organic search so that I don’t send so much to Google each month.

It is good to sharpen your saw once per week.
