The Magic Of Three

Hey guys,

Whenever I sit down to write a new post, I first go to my list of “to blog about”. But I prefer to write about things that are currently happening in my affiliate promotions.

Today was no different, and the magic of three immediately came to mind.

Here’s an illustration to show you what I mean:

Ok, so this image of the three amigos is not related at all, but I thought it would be funny to throw it in.

Being serious, let me explain to you what I mean about the magic of three.

I’m starting to see a trend.

In most cases I create a presell landing page to promote my affiliate products. I use the same template, I write some copy, throw in some images and target the right keywords in ppc.

But very rarely do I make money right off the bat. And it can be very discouraging.

What I’ve found is that it takes me 3 rounds of tweaks to make the campaign sell. This seems to be the magic number.

So what I’m trying to tell you is, don’t give up. It’s not always going to happen after the first attempt. Or even the second attempt.

One campaign I have running comes to mind — it made me $2,000 dollars in the past 30 days. It took me 3 rounds of changes to the landing page to get this campaign selling.

What if I had given up after the 2nd round of changes? This would have been easy to do.

Don’t make this mistake because it could cost you thousands.

Affiliate marketing isn’t about perfection. It’s about throwing something out there, tweaking it, evaluating the results, making it sell and repeating.

Don’t give up!

Cheers,
Ryan
