Diversify Your Affiliate Marketing Business
If you take a look at all the blogs of super affiliates like John Chow, Uber Affiliate, Zac Johnson, etc. you’ll notice they list what programs they’re making money with.
What do you notice about this?
They list multiple programs. They don’t make all their money from one network.
And that’s what I’ve been struggling with lately.
I make all my money (more or less) from Clickbank. And while I’m super excited that I earn nice checks from them, I hate having all my eggs in one basket.
I think it’s important to diversify your affiliate business.
When it comes down to it, we don’t know exactly what changes are in store for us in the Affiliate Marketing industry. As a result, it’s important that you diversify because it makes the legs of your business much stronger.
So when I say diversify, I mean learn to make money from more than just one network. Sure I can sell informational products from Clickbank pretty well, but if I could learn to sell physical products, that would open up so many other opportunities. And my income would explode.
Also, maybe instead of doing all pay per click to generate your affiliate commissions, create a few search engine optimized websites to generate organic traffic.
Last night I bought Blogging to the Bank 2.0 because I’m thinking of doing this. I prefer PPC, but I also realize that it would probably be a smart idea to add some free traffic to the mix.
(I’ll post a review of Blogging to the Bank when I’m done reading it.)
I’d like to end this post with a mention of what other network I’m trying to make affiliate commissions with.
They are called Never Blue Ads.

I tried making money with them a couple of months ago, but I failed. So this past weekend I tweaked my landing pages and made my first sale on Saturday.
I was pretty excited, but I haven’t made a sale since then so it’s time to go back to the drawing board.
I know I’ll make it work, but it very frustrating in the beginning when things don’t go as you hope.
So that’s it for this post.
My message is this:
It’s becoming more clear to me how important it is to diversity your affiliate marketing business. If you’re comfortable with one network and doing well, expand your horizons. And if you’re doing all PPC, why not look into generating some organic, free traffic to your affiliate promotions?
If you can make these both work, your business would be ten times stronger and more resistant to any changes coming our way to the Affiliate Marketing industry in the next 5 years.
Do you agree? What are your thoughts? Please comment below if you want.

I make much of my money via the eBay and Amazon affiliate program. They allow you to monetize virtually any niche imaginable with targeted products; it works out qutie well.
Enjoy,
