Adding Hub Pages to my Article Marketing Strategy
Hi everyone — back on January 9th, I wrote a post titled What Is Your Article Marketing Strategy?
You can read it over, but here’s the story in a nutshell:
To help promote this blog since it’s very new, I’m taking 5 keyword optimized articles (using Micro Niche Finder) and infusing them into Ezine Articles and Squidoo.
Well, I just heard about another site that seems like a good one to add to the mix.
It’s called Hub Pages.
It’s kind of like Squidoo, but a bit more streamlined.
So now I’m taking the 5 keyword optimized articles and uploading them to Ezine Articles, Squidoo and Hub Pages. And for both Squidoo and Hub Pages, I’m also injecting this blog’s RSS feed which should help with traffic and link popularity.
I’ve done 2 out of the 5 articles — I’m working on the 3rd one right now (yes, I’m slow).
I’m thinking down the road, these 15 sources (5 articles times 3) could bring me a consistent trickle of targeted traffic.
Now don’t forget — I’m using this method to promote this blog, but it can also be applied to tapping into niches for affiliate marketing profits.
Think about it:
You find a niche market and then write 10-20 targeted articles. You then submit these articles to Ezine Articles, Squidoo and Hubpages — and they all point to your affiliate website or blog.
If you pick the right keywords and write good content, that should be a pretty effective approach.
Ok, that’s it for now — I’m going to bed.
My next post is going to be about a dying affiliate marketing art that is still profitable for me — Direct Linking!
Talk to you soon,
Ryan

I have been experimenting with HubPages and I think it
is easy , fun and you can see fast results.
Thank you for the tips.
Hector
I agree Hector…it is pretty easy and I think over time it will be a steady traffic generator.
They have a program where you create what’s called a Flagship hub. The hub has to meet certain requirements, but I think it would make for an interesting viral marketing test.

I also signed up for an account over Hubpages but I haven’t started making my hubs yet. Now I’m focusing on making friends and reading their hubpages so I’ll have an idea of what to do and write on my future hubs.
