You’ve probably heard of John Chow. He’s an Internet Marketing blogger that makes a ton of money each month via his blog at:

http://www.JohnChow.com

He makes money from:

* Google Adsense
* Affiliate Marketing
* Text Links
* Contextual Advertising
* Paid Reviews, etc.

I visit his blog on a regular basis and I noticed the other day that he offers a free making money online eBook for subscribing to his list.

Great idea for a blog or any website for that matter — I plan on doing exactly the same thing in the next few months or so. I’ll create an Affiliate Marketing eBook and give it away for free in exchange for your email address so I can send you blog updates.

So I downloaded John Chow’s eBook not really expect too much because it’s free — but I was really impressed.

I read it twice and definitely picked up a few things:

* How to add a favicon next to my blog’s URL in the address bar up top — great way to brand yourself. You can do the same with your website or blog.

* He directed me to a few Wordpress plugins that I wasn’t aware of — one that adds the top commentators to the sidebar to the right. So the people that comment the most on my blog get free link backs on every page of this blog.

* The importance of posting to my blog on a regular basis and sticking to it. My goal is 2-3 posts per week and it’s important I stick to this schedule as best I can — John Chow posts 2-3 times per day! Because I have a full-time job, this is impossible for me.

* The way to write a post now, but make it live days later automatically — great for when I go on vacation!

* The best way to blend together a blog and Affiliate Marketing.

* There’s also information on SEO, writing content, link building and more.

I get nothing for recommending that you visit his blog and download his free eBook — but I learned a lot from it and I think you will too.

There’s another free eBook I just downloaded from Jack Humphrey called the Authority Black Book — it’s on Web 2.0 and how to use it to generate traffic to your website or blog.

I’ll blog about the eBook when I’m finished reading it — it looks promising at first glance.
